Today is May 1st!!! May Day is one of the days I always look forward to each year!!! To me, May Day in Hawaii is filled with beautiful hula performances, as well as performances from other cultures such as Tahitian dance, Samoan dance, Tongan dance, etc. Schools have May Day performances and May Fairs. There are May Day concerts. People are merry and wearing beautiful, sweet smelling leis!!! The energy and aloha spirit is alive and pulsating throughout the islands. I love May Day!!! Happy May Day everyone!!!
