Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge

If any of you are friends with me on Facebook then you definitely know that I stayed up all night watching the royal wedding festivities. I tuned in around 10:00 p.m. when they started filming the streets of London. There were so many people who camped out in the streets to be able to see England’s royal family drive by in cars and carriages. I reminisced while watching the coverage, because I had walked those very same streets nine years ago when I was in England. I remember thinking to myself that I wish I could be a witness to some kind of royal event or at least meet someone in the royal family and have my picture taken with them!!! Haha!!! Wouldn’t that be grand?!?! I soooooooo wanted to be at this royal wedding, but I knew I would not be able to make it there this time around. I am crossing my fingers that I will be able to make it to Harry’s wedding…;)

The wedding itself and watching all the members of the royal family arrive was quite exciting. The fashion statements made at this wedding were fabulous too!!! The fascinators were quite exquisite (although there were a few that made laugh and think…seriously what is that?!?!) and I do wish that I could rock one of these, but I don’t think I could…haha!!!

Kate looked gorgeously stunning in her wedding dress that was very Grace Kellyish. YES, it was a beautiful dress, it was classic, it was elegant, she rocked it out…but for me and my own personal taste, I was not a big fan of the dress. For my own personal taste, I am not a fan of lace and long sleeves…never have been and just because Kate wore a dress with lace and long sleeves and just because it’s beautiful on her, classic, elegant, etc. doesn’t mean that I will change my mind about lace and long sleeves…sorry to all those die hard fans that LOVE the dress. I’m just not one of them and I’m okay with that…:P
