Last week one of my former students emailed me via my website!!! I was so tickled and happy that she contacted me. It made my night to hear from her. It’s funny because I was just talking about her to another teacher that I had just met. And a few days later that same student emailed me!!! I love email!!!
I will never forget my former students. From time to time, I always think about the children who have entered my life and I had the privilege of working with them, teaching them and forming relationships with them. I wonder how they are doing-in life, in school, with family, with friends, etc. There are some students who still worry me even though the years have gone by. I worry that they will be safe and have a strong enough head on their shoulders to persevere through the struggles life is dealing them. I hope and pray that each and every one of them will live a “good” life. A life filled with love and support. A happy life.
