Whew!!! It’s been a whole year already?!?! Crazy right?!?! It feels like just yesterday I was writing out my blog post for my 8-year anniversary!!! Today it’s our 9-year anniversary…and sorry to disappoint some of my family and friends, but we’re still not engaged, married or have a baby on the way.
This past year has been a year of growing together as a couple. We, like many couples have our ups and downs, little road bumps, etc. Without going into too much detail, I can honestly say that we made gains as couple in terms of communication, understanding one another’s feelings and integrity. Even though we still need “work” in some of these areas, the important thing is that we made gains!!! It reminds me of teaching…remembering where the child started at the beginning of the year and where he/she was at the end of the year was more important than whether or not he/she passed the AYP test scores. The GROWTH and the journey to get to that point is what are important.
Brent, I love that I have you by my side to GROW with, to LEARN with and to go through this wonderful journey called LIFE. We may not always see eye-to-eye, but we make it work and I love that we do. Here’s to us!!! Happy 9-year anniversary honey!!! Love you to pieces!!! Hugs and smooches!!!
Here we are in Tracy Arm Fjord, Alaska and atop of Mendenhall Glacier.
