Meet Mehana. This little babe holds a very special place in my heart and in the hearts of her family and those that know her. Her mommy and daddy are very special people—one of the sweetest, kindest and most positive people I know. We first met when their family was entered into and won my annual “Pay it Forward” contest. Once, I contacted the family, Tracie and I began conversing via email. We clicked from the start—there was just something about her—her personality, her spirit and her overall aura that just shined through in her emails. I could tell she was a special gal. Their family went through a very challenging time in their lives, but they persevered. They found strength. They found the positives amongst their challenges and pain. And now they have renewed happiness. Renewed love. Their little Mehana was born and I had the honor of photographing her for their family. Thank you to Tracie, Matt and their girls for gifting me the pleasure of capturing these lifelong memories for you all. Words cannot express how grateful I am to you 🙂 Our paths crossed for a reason and I’m so happy it did!!! XOXO!!!
