My all time favorite kind of session to photograph is with newborns. These sessions are very challenging because newborns are so “new” and fragile. It’s also challenging because newborns have their own agenda too—they don’t always stay sleeping, or they pee and poop on you and/or the props, they cry or need a feeding in between shots. However, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!! Like I’ve said before, I love babies and there is just something about capturing images of newborns at this stage in their life that is so satisfying for me. I know I still have a lot to learn about photographing newborns and my posing skills still need improvement, but that’s what it’s all about…doing something in life that you love or you’re passionate about and growing and learning in that area.
