Families: The “M” Family | Hawaii Family Photographer

Twins, twins, twins!!!  Double the happiness and double the fun!!!  Meet Tanner and Logan!!!  They will be turning the big number ONE!!!  Whoo-hoo!!!  I was looking forward to this session for many reasons, one being that it was my first time photographing almost one-year old twins.  I was looking forward to the challenge and experience of getting two babes to smile and look at me or at least in my direction at the same time.  I was also excited because The “M” Family requested their shoot to take place at an urban/industrial location.  I RARELY ever get families who want to do urban/industrial shoots so their request made me giddy!!!

We began our shoot near downtown Honolulu, because mommy and daddy loved the brick building for their backdrop.  I love it too!!!  You don’t find many buildings in Hawaii made out of brick…and the best part about this building is that it’s old so there is a lot of character and charm to the brick 🙂  Next we ventured off to a more industrial look.  The “M” family brought their bright lime green stools, which I personally feel, looks fabulous against the orange door.  I just LOVE the color combo…they contrast each other yet they complement each other at the same time 🙂

These boys were easy-going and laid back.  I seriously love the facial expressions and smiles that we captured of them.  LOVE.  They are too cute for words and their big eyes are just adorable!!!  I just love how their outfits complemented the whole look of the shoot too!!!  Great job Lauren for picking out fabulous outfits!!! 🙂

Thank you so much to Lauren and Bryce for a wonderful morning.  You two were so flexible, laid-back and up for anything!!!  Thank you for choosing me to be your photographer and for the fun, fun, fun experience!!!  Your two little ones probably keep you both on your toes, but I know you guys handle it with such ease and grace!!!  Y’all should see these two parent and work together.  They have the team-effort and participation down!!! 🙂  And a big thank you to Tanner and Logan for being such adorable little subjects and giving Aunty some big smiles!!!  Yay!!!  Have a blessed and wonderful 2013!!!

The image below cracks me up…it looks like he’s saying, “Oh Aunty Mindy, not more photos!!!”

I can’t decide which is my favorite…leaning on each other, in the car, or in the bucket!
