Hello world. Meet Dominic. I had the recent honor of photographing this little man. He had a head full of hair and such gorgeous eyes. He was such a joy to photograph. His mommy and daddy had a few requests, which I’m so happy that we were able to fulfill for them 🙂
This little man’s daddy is a brave man who risks his life to protect our country and its people on a daily basis. Unfortunately he was not able to be here when little Dominic entered the world. He knew he wasn’t going to be here so he bought a Pluto doll for Dominic. One of his mommy special requests was to photograph Dominic with Pluto. I have to say Pluto was just fabulous too…he was just the perfect size, lightweight and bendy so he posed well with Dominic. I love that I was able to incorporate him into different poses. I think the images came out just adorable.
Dominic’s daddy is in the Navy and as a tribute to his daddy, mommy asked if we could get some Navy themed shots. She brought some of daddy’s gear and I got a couple of Navy hats to incorporate into the shoot. For privacy and security, I’ve blurred out their family name in the Navy images.
Daddy’s request was that we captured images of just Dominic with no props, hats, etc. I always make sure to capture shots of just baby…those images are timeless and so important as well. Most of my daddy’s prefer to have just images of their baby 🙂
Thank you to Megan, Don and Dominic for such a wonderful newborn session!!! I am so happy that we were able to photograph your little man and capture this special moment for your family. I know how much you treasure these images and it warms my heart to know that I helped you to capture and cherish this special time in your lives. I wish your family well and for a quick return for Don so that he can meet his precious babe and your family can be one again!!! Don, thank you for your daily sacrifice for our country and its people!!!
