The Crafty Talent of My Family

I love the fact that I come from a crafty family.  My grandma sews and quilts.  My mom sews, crochets and she used to needlepoint once upon a time too.  She also learned how to do some Chinese knotting so that she could create her own bag charms with beads, gems and other fun stones.  My older sister sews, quilts, knits and does cross-stitch…well she used to cross-stitch.  I’m not sure if she still cross-stitches.  She also used to make teddy bears.  One day I will share images of her teddy bears that she used to sew and stuff by hand.  My younger sister paints/watercolors and bedazzles items to personalize them.  I have numerous aunties, who also sew, cross-stitch, knit, etc.  I know how to sew but rarely sew anymore due to lack of time.  It’s fun being able to brainstorm and create your own creations.  As I’ve shared before, Lee Ann makes me a number of items for my newborn photography work.  I love it and I’m so appreciative that I have my own personal knitter!!!  Thanks Lee Annie!!!

Here are few recent images of her work.  You can check out more of her recent work HERE, at her blog!!!
