It’s that time of year again!!! Seniors are getting ready for their last quarter or semester in high school and life, as they know it now. Their last proms are coming up, their last high school sporting events are occurring, they are receiving letters of acceptance to colleges and they are getting ready to graduate!!!
I had the recent pleasure of photographing this young beauty. Karie was so easy-going and fun to photograph. She wanted to be photographed in a field of flowers. Unfortunately, O’ahu doesn’t really have those gorgeous flower fields that are in other parts of the world so we settled on a field of grass near Makapu’u and then we headed over to Makai Pier to capture some shots near the ocean. We went early in the morning so I was able to capture some images of the sun rising behind Karie and I love the sun flare in the images. I also adore the images along the pier. Something different from the beach images that we often see here in Hawaii.

They go by quickly so cherish every moment of it, because life will never be the same after you graduate. Good luck with your decision about which college to attend!!!
