I love The “F” Family!!! They are so easy to work with and photograph. They are patient and go with the flow. They are kind and sweet too. They make my job that much easier because they’re so laid back. I really and truly enjoy my time working with them. The best part is I get to watch little Kellen grow up right in front of my lens 🙂
Do you remember this little guy?!?! He came to see me when he was just a few weeks old. Then he returned for his 6-months shoot and a one-year old shoot. It’s one year later and he’s back for his two-year old shoot!!! This time he brought along his cousins, The “L” Family!!!
During our shoot we had to be flexible and work with the moods of the kiddies. Children ages 3 and under usually dictate how the shoot will go. Children at these ages have minds of their own and don’t always take direction in the way we want them too. Keeping this in mind, we went with the flow of Kellen and Maile’s mood…they were willing to sit for some of the session and other parts of the session we captured them candidly being their silly selves. I personally love candid shots, because it really shows the personality and spirit of the child. The candid shots we captured of this family warm my heart and make me laugh at the same time. I especially love the series where Kellen is trying to get his cousins to smell his flower. There is another series where he is trying to show them his feather too. The facial expressions are so precious and I’m happy that we were able to capture them as forever keepsake memories. 🙂
A big thank you to both families, The “F” Family and The “L” Family for being so patient, kind and sweet while I captured these memories of your family!!! Malia, thank you for being the BEST big sister and cousin around!!! You worked so well with your sister and your cousin!!! You were the perfect little model!!! I appreciate your hard work and patience during our shoot!!! 🙂 Jeannine, thank you for another wonderful shoot and orchestrating the whole shebang so that we could get together again!!!
